Le Mora is the name of the ship built by Etienne from Barfleur as a gift by Matilda to her husband William the Conqueror in 1066.
The cottage is a small 3-storey townhouse that has been fully renovated with a beautiful sea view of Barfleur harbour.
The cottage is suitable for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It has a large bedroom on the 1st floor and a bedroom with 2 single beds and a nice play area on the 2nd floor.
The ground floor is divided into a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area on the left and a living area with a working fireplace on the right. The living area opens on a small private terrace facing Barfleur harbour.
The stairs to the 1st floor lead to a TV lounge and a small bathroom with shower and toilets on the right. On the left, there is a large bedroom with a beautiful view on Barfleur harbour. Early birds will be able to watch the sunrise behind the harbour.
On the 2nd floor, a landing equipped with cupboards and shelves separates the children bedroom on the left from the bathroom on the right. The bathroom is equipped with a corner bath, toilets and a washing machine.
The rental fee for a week, from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 11am, is 1 200 euros and includes bed linen, towels and cleaning at the end of the stay.
Please note: the stairs leading to the 1st and 2nd floors are the original ones and are quite narrow and sloping.
